Intuition launches mainnet with $8.5M to build the trust layer for AI and the internet

Intuition, the native chain for Information Finance (InfoFi), has officially launched its mainnet, an essential step in building a decentralized trust layer for the internet and artificial intelligence (AI).

The milestone comes following the completion of an $8.5 million total funding round backed by leading investors, including Superscrypt, Shima, F-Prime (Fidelity), ConsenSys, Polygon, CoinList, and Legion.

Intuition’s mainnet launch brings it from having passed successful beta and testnet testing phases into full production, where developers and AI systems can build, curate, and access verifiable on-chain data, with the hope of bringing more transparency and reliability to the entire digital ecosystem.

Decentralizing information as an asset class

Billy Luedtke, Founder and CEO of Intuition, said:

“Today’s mainnet launch marks the culmination of years of work to decentralize how information and the value it creates flow across the web. We’re moving beyond using decentralized rails solely for finance, toward decentralizing information itself—so that people, communities, and AI agents can access the data they need, when they need it, from sources they trust, without intermediaries—and share more directly in the value they help create.”

Similar to how cloud computing unlocked shared access to computing power, Intuition aims to do the same for information, identity, and trust. Developers can utilise a shared network of verifiable data instead of trying to rebuild databases or reputation systems from scratch.

For their users, this implies that identity and data can be transferred seamlessly between applications and AI tools and that AI agents are able to cite data with verifiable provenance and reputation.

Strong ecosystem growth and investor confidence

Intuition’s $8.5M funding round reflects strong institutional confidence and community support over recent token sales on CoinList and Legion.

Tier-1 VCs like Superscrypt, Shima, F-Prime (Fidelity), ConsenSys and Polygon support the platform, with industry titans including Joseph Lubin, one of Ethereum’s co-founders and the founder of ConsenSys, and Jonathan Christodoro, who is on the Board of Directors at PayPal.

Scott Keto, President of CoinList, said:

“Intuition building one of the internet’s largest untapped markets: information itself. By aligning incentives around structured, portable knowledge, they’re opening a new information finance] category we’re excited to support. The community response through our platform underscores demand for credible, on-chain data primitives.”

The launch comes with strong early traction, with Intuition’s beta on Base drawing more than 244,000 participants, garnering 5.3 million transactions and 5.1 million verified attestations.

The most recent testnet cycle for the platform logged 17.5 million transactions from more than 900,000 unique accounts within just eight weeks.

The team has also announced key collaborations across both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, including integrations with Google Cloud, MetaMask, Zero Gravity (0g), World, Fleek, Recall Network, ConsenSys, and Gaia.

Matty O’Connor, Co-Founder of Legion, added:

“Legion is built to enable crypto primitives like Intuition to connect with real users and value-add retail. It’s capital formation and community formation in one. The momentum behind Intuition’s InfoFi products and token-curated knowledge graph resonated with Legion users and we were proud to host a sold-out sale.”

Building the infrastructure for verifiable information

The Intuition Network is an Arbitrum Orbit Layer-3 (L3) rollup settling to Base, optimized for high-throughput information operations.

Atoms (token-curated identifiers) and Triples (subject-predicate-object statements) components form a Token Curated Graph, determining data relevance and credibility via staking, bonding curves, and fee flows.

The network’s native token, $TRUST, supports gas fees, data creation, curation, governance, and query transactions, allowing users and developers to claim fractional ownership of the verified knowledge they provide.

With its mainnet now live, Intuition aims to establish itself as a foundational layer for verifiable, interoperable, and economically aligned information systems—and thereby advance convergence in the digital era between AI, blockchain technology, and trust.
